unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
Welcome to Living Waters Christian Fellowship! Living Waters began as a home bible study in Chili, NY on July 2, 2004. Our first Sunday morning service was held in our home on January 30, 2005. By June of that year we moved to a daycare facility in the town of Gates. By God's grace, we were offered an opportunity to share a building with Grace Covenant Church located at 224 Chestnut Ridge Road in Chili, which is where we are currently located.
The vision of Living Waters is to love people into God's kingdom and to continually encourage them toward a mature relationship in Christ Jesus. We believe this can be accomplished through spending time in God's Word, establishing a strong prayer life and fellowshipping with one another on a regular basis. We care about people as individuals as opposed to a face in the crowd.
We worship the Lord through contemporary music, yet we have not forsaken some of the beautiful hymns. Our study of God's Word is based on a line by line approach coupled with the life applications that make it relevant for today. While we are serious about living for Jesus, we are not overly concerned with outward appearance. Just come as you are into our casual, yet comfortable meeting place.
The youth are a key part of our vision. We love God's little lambs and provide a Children's Church environment where they can learn on their own level. Our Youth Group is one of the best in the area and is continually growing in size and expanding in vision.
We are a non-denominational church that was birthed from Jeremiah 2:13 "For my people have committed two evils; they have forsaken me the fountain of living waters, and hewed them out cisterns, broken cisterns, that can hold no water." Our desire is to see every individual in our church family return to the Fountain of Living Waters. Perhaps you have known what it is like to be dry and weary. We invite you to join us on an exciting journey through God's Word that will certainly refresh your spirit and strengthen your walk with Jesus!
